Property registration in maharashtra

(Querist) 13 May 2012 This query is : Resolved 
i own a flat in registered co-op society, so registration is optional. i have share certificate in my name but do not have any previous ownership documents.this flat was allotted to me by family settlement agreement.Now what document i prepare and register with sub registrar in order to better my legality about the property in question. pl. advise.
