Hi,
My Grand father has his own land in hyderbad.he was passed away 15 years back with out writing any will. after that my father has constructed the building in that land by given to the builders.but still that land is name of my grand father.my father having 2 wifes. first wife has 2 son's and 3 daughters. 3 daughters got married.and second wife has 2 dauthers only not any son.are they both wifes eligible to get the property or it's only belongs to first wife's sons.Can you please suggest how to divide the property and who all are eligible for that distribution of the property?

The second wife sons are not entitle to get a share in your grandfather property

Hi thanks for your quick respnose. then what about this following section.Section 16 of the Hindu Marriage Act, there is no difference between children born out of the first maarriage and the second marriage. All children whether of 1st wife or 2nd wife have equal rights in the property of the father.

children born out of void marriage are entittle to claim the share in the self acquired property of the father but not in the ancestral property.
