Hi,

My dad & mother passed away few months back but i have step mother and her son. and i have 1 bio sister.

My question are as follows.

we have property in name of my father and MY bio mother .want to know how much share will we have to give my step mother and what percentage share.

2)and what if my step is not ready sell the property and not willing to give us the share, what can we do in this case?

Thanks & regards

Whether your step mother was got married by your father during the life time of your mother? If so marriage itself is illegal and she is not entittle to claim any share in your father's property, but her son and daughter are entittle to claim share in the share of your father but not in the ancestral property.

So i want to what will be the share in the house between we both sister and my step mother?

the house is under my father and my bio mother.

Your mother gets 50% share on the property. So, you, father and bio sister will get equal share from that. 1/3 x 50%

Your father gets 50% share on the property.
So, you, father, bio sister and step mother will get equal share from that. 1/4 x 50%
