Frivolous Complaint to Police for harassing landlord

Unauthorised Occupant of Landlord's house filing complaint of landlord's having Voter ID card for his own house address in addition to similar EPIC for his usual ordinary residence, whereas latest Electoral Rolls do not show landlord to be a Voter at his own house address;

What is the counter action that the Police could or should initiate against such false complainant for harassing Landlord as also Police machinery ?

Yes, that apart the Police can also initiate action against the complainant for lodging false complaint.

Though Police has appreciated the issue of false complaint for harassing the Senior Citizen landlord, they have to be guided about various provisions of IPC / CrPC to initiate counter action; Pls. advice relevant Sections !
