Dear friends,
I signed 3 years contract job, renewable every 11 months. Though the notification was meant for selceting on regular basis,iwas asked to sign the same job on contract basis because i satisfied minimum Qualification as per the MCI norms and the employer wanted higher qualification. Hence the High court granted stay saying my position should not be disturbed and my contract was not renewed after 11 months and I have been working continueosly since 22 months, So what are the chances of my job becoming regular as the employer has not given letter of extention of my Contract.

Dear Madam,
Thank you very much for your reply.I am a doctor. Infact, I have already filed Writ petition in the High court with regard to the fact as to why my post was made contract though it was the regular post as per the notification two years ago for which I was interviewed? About one and a half years ago the court granted stay that my position should not be disturbed and hence after 11 months my employer, the Government Medical college, did not give any letter of extension of my contract and now already I am working contineously since 23 months and thus my lawyer said in the high court on 11/8/2010 that this job should be considered as regular one only and the hearing got adjourned.My employer had advertised the notification on 12th July asking for applications to fill up the remaining 2 vacancies and later they selected two candidates on 24/7/2010 but when miscellaneous writ was filed by my lawyer on 11/8/2010 the stay against the selections was not granted by the court but I believe my lawyer says my employer has given an undertaking that one post will be kept aside for me untill my case is decided in the court. please let me know how this case would proceed and will my post be confirmed as a regular post.
