SIR,
ACTUALLY MY FATHER HAD DIED ON 2002, WE HAVE ONE BROTHER , AGE IS 16 YEAR AND ONE ELDER SISTER 21 YEAR OLD .
WE HAVE NO UNCLE.
THERE ARE NO OTHER BUSINESS IN OUR FAMILY, MY MOTHER IS LADIES TAILOR AND ONE HOUSE WHICH IS THE NAME OF MY GRANDFATHER , GRANDFATHER AND GRAND MOTHER HAS DIED ON 2008,
ACTUALLY I WANTED TO KNOW THAT NAME OF MY MOTHER NOT MENTIONED OF MUNICIPAL CORPORATION , DOCUMENTS SUCH AS HOUSE TAX , WATER TAX COMES IN THE NAME OF MY GRANDFATHER IN CURRENT PERIOD.
IN VIEW OF ABOVE PLEASE TELL ME HAS THE MY FATHER SISTER IS VALID TO TAKE THE PARTITION IN OUR HOUSE?
MUNICIPAL CORPORATION COULD MENTIONED MY MOTHER NAME IN THE MUNICIPAL CORPORATION INSTRUMENT WHAT IS THE LAGAL CONDITION?
PLEASE GUIDE US?

As the house property belongs to your gran parents so the sister of your father has also got equal right as of your father in that house and if she wants, she may get it partitioned and can get equal share thereto as all you get in inheritance of your father.
So far entry of name in municipal record is concerned, it is not a sign of ownership rather is entered for the purpose of taxation. You may get entered name of your mother therein by moving an application supported with death certificates of your grand parents but it do not give exclusive ownership of the house to her.

ACTUALLY MY FATHER'S SISTER IS NOT UNMARRIED , SHE HAVE ALSO FOUR CHILDREN .
