Can someone tell me what is allowed in India w.r.t to Stem cells research based invention and can the cell based product be patented in India?

As per my personal knowledge Stem cell research based invention can also be patented in India like all other scientific reasoner.

Thanks Mr. Raj, I am more interested to know what can be patented. Say for examples the method of expanding stem cells is a well established procedure and if there is small changes made to upscale the production can that be patented. Can use of Stem based product for treating human be patented? Where can I find this information? Please advice.
