Order passed after gap

Dear Sirs,

In a criminal Revision Application, due to other commitments and sickness, a Dist Judge passed judgement one year and two months after completion of arguments of pleaders. Is it a worth cause to appeal in High Court?

If there are sufficient reasonable grounds to explain the delay its ok.

If the matter has not become infructuous and if the grievance can be remedied in appeal, then one can go to appeal.
