What is a self contained code?
Please give a few examples...
What is its implications?
If there is a contention regarding the interpretation of such a code, how is the process different from other acts ( i.e to bring out its true meaning)??
Thank you very much for your time.

Self contained code means a statute which is complete in itself. Normally one is not required to take help of other provisions from other Acts in interpretation of the provisions of such a complete code. e.g. Maharashtra co operative societies act or trust act, rent act, land revenue code etc

That provides ready answers to any problem that may arise in conduct of a business or activity and should also not be in contravention of the law of the land.
