Sirs,
i have already filed a complaint with directorate of public grievance regarding a medi claim policy and order was that my claim cannot be entertained as per the clauses in the policy and a time of 15 days was given for its appeal. Couldn't i approach the district consumer forum for the same claim?

Appeal time is 30 days. If the same dispute is concluded by order of dismissal then your relief lies in the State Commission and not in the same Forum.

you can apporach the consumer court!

Yes. You can approach the Consumer Forum with a complaint.

If you have sufficient grounds, you can file an appeal with application for condonation of delay. Same matter can not be filed in consumer forum.
