Res. Sirs,

Last night employees of power department fell down all my growing bamboos standing backyard, citing the reasons as hindrance to the poll wiring; whereas, there was no any hindrance to the poll wiring by the bamboos.The felling down took place at night . Please suggest remedies, if any.

They can't fell whole tree but may cut the branches. If they have done so, you may file complaint before court, against them for 427 IPC.

The power department can do it in public interest. If that is done with malafide intention you can seek damages .
