Conversation of land into 143 in up

Sir i got gift deed from my father's agriculture land of 3000 square feet and on title deed it is mentioned residential land and i paid stamp duty of residential rate .
Is it required to change land into 143 in UP ?

If the use of land has not been converted to residential, it has to be converted.

Discuss with local lawyer regarding procedure.
