Stamp duty in tamil nadu

(Querist) 28 January 2016 This query is : Resolved 
One my client wants to gift her property which was allotted to her as Sole Proprietor business name to his son. The property was allotted to her as Sole Proprietor owner of the business. Whether the Stamp Duty will be charged as the mother gifted her property to son at the maximum stamp duty of Rs.25000/- for Family Gift Settlement or Applicable Stamp duty for the Guideline value of the property

Stamp duty is state subject, consult local registrar office / lawyer.
