Land property transfer

My sister-in-law and my wife jointly own a plot in Hosur, Tamil Nadu and they would now like to transfer the same in the name of my son who is 21 years old.

Kindly advice on the best way to transfer this to my son's name so that there is no legal or taxation issues for my son later.

Deed of Gift is the best option.

They can execute gift deed and get it registered.
