Purchasing agricultural land in udipi, karnataka

Hi All,

I and my wife are planning to purchase agricultural land in Udipi, Karnataka from a cousin.

The land is 15 cents.

We do not hold any other agricultural land anywhere.

We both work in private companies with income more than 2 lakhs.

Is there any rule which allows agricultural land up to 15 cents to be purchased by non-agriculturalist with income more than 2 lakhs like us?

How is the land proposed to be used?

Hi Venu,
We have not decided yet how to use the land. Options we have thought of are to convert it to NA land and build a house or sell the land after few years. Will it be possible to buy in our case
