Defendant/vehicle owner is in jail (judicial custody)under National Security Act in kanpur and he has to file written statement in MAC petition in unnao district court.How he can submit his written statement in said petition from jail? Please submit your opinion...

The Written Statement could be drawn up by the lawyer, got affirmed before an officer in the jail and submitted to the Court by the lawyer.

It is very simple, ask the lawyer to prepare it get it signed by him from the jail duly attested by the Jail officials competent to attest the same.
