I gave some money to my friend's mother. Now she is not giving it back. When am asking the money she is threatening me, that she will suit a criminal case against me for doing illegal money lending buisness. I gave the money when she cried in front of me, telling her emergency. I have a blank promissory note signed by that lady and a blank cheque signed by her son. WHAT SHOULD I DO ... ?? PLEASE HELP ...

Dear Nabeel,
It is absolutely not encouraged to receive any blank Promissory note or a blank cheque etc., when the transaction is genuine. Looking into the given scenario it is advisable to issue a Legal Notice to your friend's mother demanding the money that you have paid to her.

Respected Sir,
I gave it with a good intention. And she compel me to keep these documents as a security. The promissory note was brought by her. My doubt is that, if she file a case against me what should i do ? Is it become a valid case ?

if you have blank cheque the why not to fill it and present to bank and make her criminally liable.
