Sir,
a year ago some villagers approached to me and requested for issue of NOC to place a demand to the Govt. for construction of road in the village where I have landed property in my name but I do not reside there.
Thinking that a village road could be hardly 10 to 15 ft in width I issued NOC accordingly.
Now the govt. has approved the proposal for construction of road whereas the acquisition of land of the effected persons including me is yet not done by the govt. nor the compensation thereof is paid yet.
But now it is learnt from the land acquisition office that at least 54 ft land in width will be acquired according to law.
Now after listening this news I have make my mind not to allow acquisition of my land as I will be loosing my entire paddy field and I will be almost landless leaving no space for cultivation of paddy. the only plot left out will be Dry field only.
Although I have submitted a petition to the concerned authority requesting them not to acquire my land as the proposed roads end on my land and it has no further connectivity as well and also there will have no obstruction to complete the demand of the public even if the road is not extended to my land.
But in turn the authority is of the opinion that I should have think about all this pros n cons before issuing NOC while submitting public demand to this effect. they said that they would examine the case. Though they have not given any words whether the authority will exclude my land or not.
As such I would like to know from learned members what can I do to prevent the acquisition of my land for the said road. Whether I have every right to object
(a)until n unless the compensation is paid;
(b)until n unless I issue another NOC to the acquisition officer
or no way to prevent.
Pl advise.

I suggest you to fight for the compensation. You may loose your case if dispute your NOC.
