I worked in Sutherland global services from 2012 to Oct 2014, since I was not interested to
work in that company I told them that Im gonna put down my papers. They told me to work in
that company as I can expect growth. So, I decided to work, I came to realize that as a
manager/tl they are trying to retain me, so I decided to abscond and I did not go to office
for a work. They used to call me everyday, finally they texted me saying that my manager
wanted to speak. I went to my office, again they tried to retain me, revoked my hold, I worked
for 2-weeks, again I did not go to office due to some family problem starting from 19th Oct
our payroll ends on 25th of every month salary will be credited on end of the month. I got my
Oct month salary credited. I had no idea to go to office but since I worked for yrs, everyone
of my friend suggested to get a proper relieving. Today I sent an e-mail to my program HR
stating all this, I informed that Im ready to pay one month of salary to compensate notice
period but he replied me that they cannot give me any papers nothing can be done, one cannot
simply pay money and get relieving letter . they wont even provide me any termination letter.
Pls help me with this...I need my relieving letter
I told my TL and as well as HR saying that we moved out of city, so I will not be able to
continue working with sutherland yesterday but he told me it is not possible to provide any
reliving or termination letter, I also have 15-days of leave balance.. Shall I go and continue
my work there...

Since you work in private sector, it is better you settle the dispute amicably. The legal battle to enforce your right would not give timely result.

Settlement is the best option in the given case.
