Dear Expert,

One of my friend is accused in above case in last year in August - 12 month, but till date Police have not filed Chargesheet. Is there any timeline for the same and why does it take so long time and will that affect on case.

It takes certain time to file the charge sheet, as the police conducts their investigation and accumulates evidence.
