Is there any goverment rule for the employer to issue the form 16 to the employee even if his salary falls under non taxable slab.

Form 16 is issued to the person whose tax is deducted otherwise form 16 cant be obtained.

The Experts have rightly advised.
Form-16 is issued by the Employers as a proof of deduction of tax on salary paid to staff whose taxable salary exceeds the threshold limit under the Income tax Act.
