Rti act details through ngo's

Dear Concern,

I would like to know whether RTI Act is applicable for NGO's (Specifically the NGO's name is SOS CHILDRENS VILLAGE, VISHAKAPATNAM, INDIA).Its a Orphanage Institution.

I have married a girl from this particular NGO and had an issue. So I have asked the NGO to provide me the details of the particular girl through RTI Act, But they refused to give.

Kindly let me know whether I can get the particulars. If yes pls guide me and give me the format how I have to proceed.
