An Advocate, in routine dealing with middle income group clients, conducts one case on behalf of an MNC and charges fee for it.

Is he liable to pay Service Tax?

No as per revers charge mechanisum 100% service tax i.e. 12.36% is liable to pay by service recever

Service tax is to be paid by service receiver and not by service provider.
