Effect of settlement before lok adalat

Sir,

If any settlement is arrived at between parties before Lok adalat with regard to compensation under land acquisiton act after compensation is enhanced by reference court, will the settlement be operative for other cases under Section 28A of land acquisition act?

If lok adalat observes that the settlement will not prejudice the other cases will this take care of Section 28A of land acquisition act?

First of all always the settlement is between the parties so it does not have effect on the right of others who are not the parties to the settlement.
Yes definitely, those who are not the parties to the settlement they can make reference for re-determination of the compensation awarded.
