pls advice how long can i keep the pagdi owned rented flat in Mumbai subrubs , as i am not staying in same and was in my father name n he is passed away in 8 yeras ago n v have kept the flat vacant n untiliesed n no electri consumtion record can the land powner win the case if lodge as rent too is not paid last 6 years, and we are not staying in city too .and just locked n kept in our possession .no legal notice is yet rcvd frm landlord . if claimed in court can landlord win the case do i hv to surrender the flat .

you have been extrmely negligent .
you have to immediatedly send by demand drfat rent amounts for last 6 years .
if you are not in position to use said premises inform landlord that you desire to sell of the premises . find a buyer and after paying landlord his share the premises can be transferred in name of new tenant
