rent eviction case is posted for exparte evidence as defendent neither filed w/s nor appeared what it means. myself being plaintiff will be giving evidence what will defendent do. can he cross question pl. guide what exparte evidence means. will itlead to exparte judgement after exparte evidence

In the given case, the respondent/defendant has been proceeded ex-parte means he has got no right to cross-examine the witnesses of the plaintiff side and he cannot put his appearance in any proceeding until he gets the ex-parte proceeding set aside. So the ex-parte judgment shall be delivered.
