Dear All

If the Company recieves a request for transfer of shares by way of gift, what all documents should the company check while giving effect to the transfer?

A valid gift deed. A request from the owner(donor) of the shares requesting transfer of shares in form of an affadavit and the share transfer form. It is best to contact the Registrar to Shares/Share Transfer agents of the company and they will guide you with the complete checklist along with the formalities.
