Mistake in sale deed

My father purchased a plot via a registered sale deed. After 30 years he come to know that mauza no. is written as 170 instead of 140. All other descriptions are correct. the seller is no more neither his legal representative will be traces. How to correct this mistake.

If you are in possession, do not leave it.

ask for correction.
Engage local Advocate, and he will do necessary leg work.
