CAN VP-HR DELEGATE POWERS OF APPOINTMENT, PROMOTION AND PUNISHMENT TO ANY LOWER LEVEL/ZONAL MANAGER IN MARKETING THROUGH POWER OF ATTORNEY. IF A WORKMAN IS APPOINTED BY VP-HR, THEN CAN THIS POA BE MADE APPLICABLE ON THIS WORKMAN.KINDLY GIVE LEGAL PROVISION.

POA has no relevance in any company for delegation of administrative/recruitment or financial powers. Any delegation can be made only through official orders, that too if authorised by the Board of Directors through a resolution duly passed by majority vote. Hence the action of VP-HR is quite irregular.
