Dear sir.. im paul victor from chennai. As my full name is (paul victor.v) and my father's name is (victor abraham). what i should write in the column for surname while applying passport. even though it is optional. is it necessary to provide my surname in it??..

as simple as according to your query that your name is paul victor. v and your father name is victor abraham, so you can use your paul victor as your sir nam if u feel to record other wise no need to mention it

thanku sir. but they ask to expand if there is any initials. As in my all documents my name is with initial as (paul victor.v). if i expand it its coming as, (paul victor victor abraham) where in the sense of confusing. so., wont there be any issues of my leaving my surname not mentioned sir??..
