problem of double name

I have my name in my school certificate DHARMENDRA KUMAR KAURAB but in army document my name is DHARMVIR SINGH i want 2 take admission in army institue of law but due 2 my wrong name i am not able 2 take my army benefits of my dad so please advice me so i came out of this problem .

It is not the big problem, but u has to prove all by vital documents such as ur birth certificate and all.

Really wonder and surprise that u r servicing for our nation, how they accept ur name haphazardly , while ur admission in army they have verified nook and corner of documents and evidence of records

so pls explain more abt ur prop then only we can give suggestion.

You can approsch the Revenue authorities,authrised to issue issue certificates when there arises a name dispute for the settlement of terminal dues.

A joint notarised affidavit is a declaration made by your name, signed by a magistrate or a notary. The declaration states that your maiden name or double name etc.. was so and so.

However, submitting a notarised affidavit can be a tedious and expensive affair every time your new name has to be recorded. More so, if the concerned departments / officials ask for the original affidavit each time!
Make your life simpler by registering your new name with your state government gazette. Collect a copy of the name change form --- available free of cost -- and fill in the details correctly. Pay a nominal fee.

actully i m not in army my dad is in army and i wanted 2 take admission in army institue of law and last date of submission of form is 27june. due 2 my double name i m in problem . and changing a name is long process so plz suggest some fast advice so i will also not miss my chance 2 get admit in army institue of law . and there is new rule in army that the in record is not going 2 change.

the option one is that you can get your name edit in school and board certificate or

contact the authorities of school and ask what can the necessary requirements for the time being and afterwards get you name edited in school records
