The arbitrator or arbitrators appointed by the disputants function as Arbitral tribunal.If the arbitration is conducted by a single arbitrator without the assistance of anyother arbitrator,it could be termed as conducted by sole arbitrator.It is a private statutory body recognized by the Act for the disposal of civil disputes at the option of the disputants.
