My client wishes to form a Sangha of Merchants for the well being of merchants of the locality and wants to formulate rules etc., and collect membership fees as the usual procedure. now for the purpose I require a draft of the by law to be formulated for such sangha further I also want the legal proceedures for registration of such sangha. i) under which authority I have to register the same. ii) whether a Sangha and Society are the same if no what is the difference between the two.

1. FORM A GROUP 2. FIX THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF EACH AND EVERY PERSON. 3. CONSULT AN AUDITOR HE WILL GIVE YOU GUIDANCE FOR REGISTRATION OF SOCIETY
4. IF YOU WANT TO FORM A CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETY GET YOU NAME OF GROUP/SANGH REGISTERED
5. AFTER GETTING REGISTRATION APPLY FOR BANK ACCOUNT IN THE NAME OF SANGH. 6. FIX THE RULES OF PROCEDURE/ BYE LAWS FOR THE SANGH.

The constitution, rules and regulations of Merchants' Association has to be tailor made. Just a merchants' association do not require any statutory registration. An merchants' association and a co-operative society, are two different things. More more details you can contact me on 9820210045.

0. Tailor made Bye Laws are good 1.District Registrar is the competent authority 2.Sangha, Association, Society all are same under Societies Registration Act.
