if a backwardclass female marries a scheduled caste male. Will the caste of the female change?

IT has been answered in this LCI website a number of times, that by marrying, a woman cannot change her caste. The caste will continue to remain the same even after marriage.

Caste is associated with birth. Hnece it will not change on account of marriage or any other event. However if the person has converted to another religion, caste in the original religion becomes non est. That is why Dr. Ambedkar encourged his followers to convert themselves to Buddhism as that religion does not have any caste system like Hinduism.
