birth certificate

sir,my birth date according to my D.M.C & voter card is 17-02-1990,but according to muncipal committee birth certificate is 04-03-1990.I am apply the passport but they demand the same date birth certificate on 17-02-1990.I also the contact of municipal committee but they called not prodeure of change birth date.please requiest to give me solution thanx n regard.punitvats123@gmail.com

Then better use your school certificate as proof of your date of birth. Why do you unnecessarily use Municipal Certificate and get trouble for yourself. What difference it will make for you whether your birth date is 17.2.90 or 4.3.90, if you are interested in getting your Passport.

When you had a School leaving certificate bearing date of birth, there was no necessity to produce any other proof of birth. You can do that now.

you can ask non availability certificate from manciple committee and the same can be submitted with the date of birth certificate, which you have along with affidavit stating therein the facts.

its a matter of passport, Municipal Record is considered as the basic proof of age.

its better to get certain documents corrected rather than inviting trouble for other purposes as well.
