(Querist) 03 April 2011 This query is : Resolved
In a 498a case[between ACP and SHO/IO,
No DP3 & 4 of DP ACT]
from the filing of complaint till charge sheet

What would be the Communication[ documents/memos/orders/instructions]
between ACP and SHO/IO,

if an accused-victim is in Anti Bail[no
arrests].

Advices.
Raj Kumar Makkad (Expert) 03 April 2011
IO is an independent authority to investigate and file his final report (charge-sheet) before concerned court but it is good for him to show his chain of investigation to his SHO and if SHO himself is an investigation officer then to ACP so that no any lacunae may remain in the case. Generally no more communication is required unless demand of the case requires or parties to the case require intervention of ACP.
