Promotion

I had taken leave without permission and I was removed from service . Later after conducting disciplinary proceedings I was reinstated on 2006. No the department is not allowing me for promotion? Is they have the right to curtail my right to promotion due to my past disciplinary action ?

The Got or its Organisation can not stall your promotion if you are otherwise eligible for it. So you can challenge the order of your employer before the appropriate Administrative Tribunal.
