WITHDRAWL OF COMPLAINT

CAN A COMPLAINANT WANTS TO WITHDRAW HIS COMPLAINT LODGED WITH CBI UNDER CORRUPTION CASE IS PERMISSIBLE. CHARGESHEET FILED IN COURT AND NOW HE WANTS TO WITHDRAW THE COMPLAINT. HE FEELS HE MNAE A FALSE COMPLAIANT

The case is non compoundable one and hence can not be withdrawn. Moreover if after submission of charge sheet the complaint realises that the complaint was a false then he should be prosecuted at once for lodging false complaint thereby involving the state machinery.
