shop and establishment act of Delhi

HI all

As per the delhi govt site, Obtaining license under Shop and establishment is not necessary from 1989 and the site was updated in 2004

can anyone guide me whether obtaining liceses under the same has become mandatory now??

Yes, very recently, the Lt. Governor of Delhi revived the requirement for registration under Delhi Shops & Establishment Act, 1954.
