Inordinate delay in judgement for Contempt Prtition

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 15 August 2010 This query is : Resolved
We had filed a contempt petition in High Court at Mumbai in Nov. 2009 against BMC for not granting permission u/s 499 of BMC Act to the tenants in spite of High Court order on our earlier petion.

Its a known fact that BMC is infested with corruption and is hand in glove with land mafia or builders lobby.

We fail to understand this delay although BMC has accepted having done the contempt.

Pl. guide how to deal with this situation?

What is the position of your case? From your query it is not clear the reason for the delay. If the case is stuck for the last few years then you have to immediately enlist the matter in the high court and get the hearing fast. If the case is running in the list then there should not be any delay.
