sir, suppose i submitted the application form in personnaly and shall we got the information through post? for this what was the procedure? i.e can i attach any self addresses envelope like any such things.

No, there is no requirement to attach any self address envelope etc. You are required to mentioned your postal address in application form. PIO would send information by any means such regd. ad, speed post and some department have some office boy to deliver.

yes no need to attach any self address envelop . it is govt service so they can send by their own

Provision of RTI do not require you to attach any self addressed envelop to get the desired information.

As per RTI Act 2005, u only need to pay the the requisite fee i.e Rs. 10/- via Indian Postal Order and nothing else. now its become their liability to provide u the entire information demanded by you within stipulated time (i.e One month)

The RTI application may be handed over at the post office along with the fee Rs.10/- in cash. The post office takes the responsibility of sending it to the PIO addressed therein by Registered post and furnish a copy of the letter to you.It is for the PIO to send the reply at Government's cost.The postal department has relieved the information seekers the difficulty of purchasing the postal order or draft etc.and also cost of sending the application to the PIO by Regd.post.
