Dear exports , Can you please confirm if soceity can charge move in move out lift charges as per maharashtra Co-operative socety act 1960 .
If soceity can charge , Please help with the act no with details mentioned in Co-operative socety act 1960 .

A housing society in Maharashtra cannot generally charge move-in or move-out lift charges. The Maharashtra Cooperative Societies Act and Model Bye-Laws do not authorize such fees. Any charges beyond those prescribed by law or specifically authorized are considered illegal
Housing societies are only authorized to collect charges as per the law and the society's bye-laws. Any additional charges imposed without proper authorization are considered illegal.
