Enforcement of pronote after 5 years after death on the family

my son-in law died in april 2008.One mr ganapathy has phoned my daughter through his friend a police inspector saying that my son - law owes Rs 5 lakhs for which he had signed a pronote some time in 2012.He wants her to clear the amount.My daughter is not aware of any such document .Is she liable now in 2013 merely because he says he has pronote with him as proof of commitment for loan obtained.
