Breach of contract

My employer an NGO terminated me without giving me any notice and also did not pay the salary of my previous month.(The month I worked) saying my performance was not upto his desire(which is nothing but concocted)
Can I proceed against him u/s 420 I.P.C. as well as through civil procedure ?

what is the amount involved ? issue him a legal notice . wait for response .

what were terms and conditions of your employment? did it provide for 3 months notice period ?
