Iam CHETAN PRAKASH JAIN FRM HYDERABAD, My father-in-law purchase 1Shop at navi mumbai belapur in month of DECEMBER on his name, in january i paid tht amount for shop by cheque. But he saying property cnt be register on my name till 3years complete. So iwnt to know there is any RULE ?if yes what can i take legely next step and neccessary document.

before purchasin the property you ought to have made encessary enquires . if agreement for purchase of shop entered into you cna register the agreement immediatedly .

have you purchased from builder or in resale ?

All the documents belongs to my father-in-law on his name nothing my name property resale.
