I need to open a shop to sell Brand Surplus clothes. Could you tell what documents I need to have?

you have to register with Local commercial tax department, need fire serivce department licence and shop and establishment act licence , labour licnece and lot, where r u from

need a shop establishment license . regsiter with sales tax authroties .

I am from New Delhi. I was told I can get these shop establishment license 2 or 3 months post opening the shop. Is it mandatory to register with Sales tax authorities becasue i heard if revenue is leass than 10 lakh one doest have to?

Vikas You are Correct for VAT but Shop & Establishment licence can get any time
