My cable operator is receiving signal & transmitting channels/programmes to its subscriber without paying fees to star tv by stealing activation code from the office of star tv in collusion with staff of star tv ,now star tv wants to prosecute our cable operator,under which sections police can register FIR against my cable operator. Thank

i think there is some Cable Television Netwroks Act, 1995.

i ve seen a FIR where the case was registered under S. 379 IPC.

dont know much of the details.

He is the guilty under sec 43,65,66 of Information technology act 2000& sec63 of copy right act.

Dear Vinod Bansal,

It is voilation of section, 4, 5 and 7 of the Cable Telivision (regulation) Act, 1995 and also the voilation of the Copy right Act.
