after examination off all the prosecution witnessess, and cross then your turn will come for DEFENCE WITNESS (D/W),WHEN THE LD. COURT CONDUCT AN ENQUIRY U/S. 313 OF Cr.P.C., THE MAGISTRATE ASK YOU, WETHER YOU DEFEND YOUR CASE PROPERLY AND SQURELY BY ADUCING D/W OR NOT ? ANS. IS YES I AM READY TO GIVE D/W, ON HEARING SUCH ,MAGISTRATE FIX NEXT DATE FOR D/W.

Why would husband ask persons not in chargesheet to be summoned?

I guess you want to ask, how can husband ask for appearance of material witnesses, which are not made witness by the prosecution.

It can be done under CrPC 311.
