I have got a family Land registered since 1950's. I am having a dispute with the one of the boundary of it. In the Current Revenue Map, the northern boundary has been reduced by 2 mtrs. Still the neighbour is encroaching more on that land. I plan to get the demarcation done for it. Since now I am getting in this legal hassle, so I would like to get the correction to the revenue map also. How can this be carried out. (Found out about sec 29 of UP Land revenue Act). Please advise me regarding this Act and what all documents i need to produce in the court. How will the matter proceed? Who will be submitting the report and normally how much time will it take for getting the correction to the revenue map done. Please advice at the earliest.

Give an application to the concerned department for survey of the land. Your land will be measured and you will get the new map according to the survey.
