There is a saying in Kerala that GREEN INK should not be used for signing. Is it legally correct.

Yes green ink is used by the Gazetted officers of the state. So the green ink is not used by general public in singing the documents

Green ink is used by the gazetted officers for signing the doccuments and blue or black ink is prescribed for the general public.
